Family Network NZ & Complex Care Group are family led change agencies working for families who have a son or daughter with intellectual disability and/or complex needs. Building on what we gained in 2020 we are pleased to offer ongoing opportunities for parents to learn and share via Zoom. The virtual parent gatherings are scheduled for the last Thursday of the month beginning March 2021. We will have a range of topics and presenters throughout the year – stay tuned! For the March virtual gathering we ask that you register – refer to details below. Zoom is an easy platform to use – don’t worry if you have never used Zoom before, simply click on the Zoom link which you will receive when you register and allow 1 or 2 minutes for Zoom to start up on your computer. Ideally connect to Zoom and join us at around 11.15am so we can all introduce ourselves before the presentation starts. On Zoom you can silence your microphone and/or switch off your camera if you need to. We welcome all parents and family members of a person with a disability on these Zoom calls.
